Through their curiosity, script kiddies quickly learn their knowledge and then use it in the form of pranks on their friends. For example, they manipulate a PC that continuously opens new browser windows or hack their friends' Facebook accounts to post funny pictures.

A script kiddie is considered a bad thing to be in the hacker community. They are often less skilled, experienced and knowledgeable than true hackers.

They might be programmers but do not have experience writing complex exploits to target a vulnerability. They tend to use open-source malware programs and scripts to target different systems. Script kiddies also tend to be indiscriminate and try to compromise any systems on the internet they can reach.

While script kiddies may lack the technical skills of elite hackers, they can still pose threats to individuals and organizations: Low-Level Threats: Script kiddies are typically responsible for lower-level cybercrimes, such as website defacement, DDoS attacks, and spreading malware through phishing campaigns.
